I am an aircraft design and complex systems engineer, as well as a professional pilot. My previous endeavor, Pie Aeronefs SA, was to design and manufacture a four-seat battery electric GA aircraft. Unfortunately, no one gave us any money to do it, and when I ran out I had to close the company. The experience, however, helped me to understand what the problems facing high-stakes engineering projects are.
Give me money and I’ll make magic happen. A lot of people say that, but I’m telling the truth, honest!
